Katie Cushing studied Fine Art at Queens University and Journalism at NBCC Woodstock.

In 2001 she represented the Province of New Brunswick at the Canada Games as their visual artist.  That same year, she was awarded the Writer’s Federation of New Brunswick Sheree Fitch prize for prose writing.

Katie is a frequent contributor to Come On In! and is currently working on her first novel.
