In 2002, we wrote this about Kevin MacDonald:

George MacDonald estimates he spent in the neighbourhood of $15,000 on his children’s teeth. It was on the way home from one of those frequent trips to the dental chair that his son Kevin (who was then a teenager) commented, “You know, Dad, I think that’s what I want to be.”

When he graduated from Riverview High in 1995, Kevin headed off to Acadia. After three years in their Science program he was accepted into Dalhousie’s Dental program. This past Spring he graduated. He’s currently working with Dr. Lacroix in Dieppe and plans to apply to U of T; he would like to specialize in Periodontics. The University of Toronto accepts just three students per year into the program. Dr. Kevin George MacDonald should be a serious contender for one of those positions. He won Dalhousie University’s Medal for Dentistry, the Dr. Frank Woodbury Memorial Prize for the highest grade point average, the Dr. William Woodbury Memorial Prize for exceptional ability in the specialty of Orthodontics and the Canadian Academy of Periodontology Prize for greatest proficiency in Periodontics.

Kevin recently graduated from the University of Toronto and is currently setting up his clinic in Periodontics in Saint John.
